These samples would be one element in the soundscape, including synthesizer, live radio, cello, and voice.
2. Possible stage plot for performance:
Performer faces the radios while performing, highlighting the conversational potential of the piece -- the radios “speak” to the performer, and she responds. Radios are spaced in a small curve, requiring the performer to move around the space, creating physical signal interference. Placement of the radios also highlights the spacialized aspect of the multichannel work.
