Respire: Cabinfever a the MCA

On select Saturdays during "Merce Cunningham: Common Time," local dance companies engage with Merce’s conviction of the “a common time” to activate the driving themes and concepts behind the exhibition. These collaborative and cross-disciplinary performances demonstrate overlapping relationships between movement, music, fashion, architecture, social media, set, and lighting design.

Research-based and architecture-engaged company "CabinFever" is comprised of half musicians, half dancers. Their process involves extended inquiry into the history of a building and its inhabitants to craft a work performed in that building. They are creating and premiering a site-specific work in dialogue with the MCA’s current facility and its previous iterations. Learn more:
