mocrep presents Diels/Marino/Rosenfeld

In the second concert of their 2015-2016 season, Mocrep presents the music of an adventurous group of young American composers at Hume Chicago (http://humechicago.org/). This program will feature the music of Natacha Diels, Jessie Marino, and Marina Rosenfeld, each of whom offer unique perspectives on the potential of musical and multimedia performance. Highlighting explorations of communication, obfuscation, movement, and the social dynamics of performance, these works are certain to provoke reevaluations of and reflections on the role of performance in contemporary society.

Hume Chicago is an artist-led project space focused on serving the Humboldt Park and Logan Square communities through dynamic, accessible arts programming. They foster an inclusive, creative environment in which emerging Chicago artists and their neighbors can commune and engage.
